To advance student growth, the Guidance Services Center–Day Program at Cebu Technological University–Main Campus convened students from the colleges of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and Computer, Information and Communications Technology (CCICT) on March 3 for the seminar “What Was I Made For? Discovering Strengths & Cultivating My Future Path.”
The seminar was attended by third- and fourth-year students from CAS and third-year students from CCICT, highlighting the university’s drive to prepare students for life beyond academics.
Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr. expressed his support for the student-centered program, which was followed by engaging activities such as “Draw My Path” led by Ms. Pearl Jane Bongcales and the “GTKY: Evolution” icebreakers.
Guidance counselors Dr. Catherine Ross, Dr. D. Degula, and Dr. Jerame R. Nacua led sessions on self-assessment, helping students identify strengths and weaknesses to guide growth and success.
Later in the seminar, Dr. Jeel Christine C. de Egurrola and Dr. Josephine A. Villa discussed the value of strength-based development and how nurturing one’s talents can lead to career fulfillment and resilience, aligned with CTU’s PREMIER core values.
The seminar marked another successful initiative by the Guidance Services Center in support of the university’s mission to develop empowered, future-ready graduates.
