The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Quick Response Team (QRT) of Cebu Technological University–Main Campus will lead the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today, March 12 at 3:30 PM, with employees and students set to participate.
Pursuant to National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 15, s.2026 and CTU Memorandum No. CD‑C03‑100, s.2026, and in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), CTU Main Campus will conduct the following activities:
8:00AM-12:PM – Briefing
1:00 PM-3:00 PM – Preparation and information dissemination
3:30 PM – Earthquake drill (simulated ground shaking)
4:00 PM – Evacuation proper
4:30 PM-6:00 PM – Post-drill evaluation
Students, faculty, and staff are required to join this vital disaster preparedness activity.
