CTU marks first Monday of March with ASEAN-inspired attire

To highlight the university’s alignment with the values of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Cebu Technological University–Main Campus employees donned ASEAN-inspired attire during the flag-raising ceremony on March 2, the first Monday of the month.

Pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 16, s. In 2024, government employees are required to wear ASEAN-inspired attire on the first Monday of the month, and Filipiniana-inspired clothing on the remaining Mondays.

As part of today’s program, CTU received its Certificate of Registration for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) No. 3696, issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), pursuant to Executive Order No. 180 (1987) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

The CNA between the Cebu Technological University System Employees Association (CTUSEA) and the Cebu Technological University (CTU) System is duly registered and binding from December 9, 2025, to December 8, 2028. The certificate was signed by Chairperson Atty. Marilyn B. Yap and attested by Ma. Theresa C. Fernandez, Director IV of the Human Resource Relations Office.

On behalf of OIC‑University President Dr. Denilin P. Batulan, Ms. Jennifer V. Enriquez, President of the Federation of CTU System Employees Association, received the CNA certificate of registration, conferred by Mr. Ricardo I. Gabule Jr., Senior Human Resources Specialist of CSC‑Cebu North.

The conferment signifies CTU’s institutional commitment to equitable labor practices and to promoting employee welfare.
