The Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) held its 1st Executive Board Meeting and Convention on February 19 at a hotel in Ermita, Manila, with Cebu Technological University (CTU) represented by OIC University President IV Dr. Denilin P. Batulan.
The gathering aimed to strengthen governance and advance the role of SUCs in national development.
Key agenda items were addressed in the meeting, including recommendations to the draft CHED-DBM Revised SUC Levelling Guidelines and Instruments, the draft Revised Organization and Staffing Standards for SUCs (ROSSS)–Phase III, FY 2025 financial statements, FY 2026 proposed receipts and expenditures, and a consultation with Senator Sherwin “Win” T. Gatchalian, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance.
CTU’s participation reaffirmed its active role within PASUC, contributing to policy development, governance reforms, and national growth through strengthened nation-building efforts.
