Recognizing his contributions to engineering education and professional practice, the Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA) conferred the 2026 Distinction Award for the Civil Engineering Profession (Academe Category) on Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta, Vice President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation (PERG) at Cebu Technological University (CTU), on March 7 at the UP Bahay ng Alumni in Diliman, Quezon City.
The recognition was endorsed by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), Inc. during the 48th PFPA Anniversary and the 13th Excellence & Distinction (EXCeeD) Awards.
PFPA formally conferred the Distinction Medallion, Trophy, and Certificate on Dr. Ancheta, recognizing his interdisciplinary expertise and affirming his commitment to excellence in engineering, academic service, and institutional reform.
By engaging in academic and professional standards across regional, national, and global platforms, Dr. Ancheta contributed to elevating the university’s pursuit of excellence in academic, public service, and nation-building.
