Cebu Technological University (CTU) welcomed representatives from the 7th Forward Service Support Unit (7FSSU) of the Philippine Army during a courtesy visit held on March 9 at the Office of the University President.
The delegation met with CTU’s University President, Dr. Denilin P. Batulan, to explore possible collaboration under the unit’s Military Livelihood and Education Program, which aims to enhance the professional development, technical skills, and financial literacy of military personnel.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the potential engagement of a Subject Matter Expert from CTU to serve as a resource speaker for an upcoming lecture or seminar intended for soldiers assigned to the Central Visayas region.
The visiting delegation included 1LT Rizlene Rondemere P. Calumpang (OS) PA and Cpl. John Emerson Perez (OS) PA of the 7th Forward Service Support Unit, who expressed interest in strengthening linkages with academic institutions to support the continuing education of their personnel.
Concluding on a positive note, both the Philippine Army unit and CTU look forward to future collaboration through lectures, seminars, and other educational programs.
