Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., SUC Vice President IV and the Vice President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation at Cebu Technological University, has earned the prestigious APEC Engineer title, joining 48 other Filipino engineers honored for their global expertise and ethics.
The conferment was held on March 25 during the APEC Engineers Conferment Ceremony at the University of the Philippines–Diliman in Quezon City.
Following thorough evaluation by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and the Philippine Technological Council (PTC), the engineers met international standards, granting opportunities in APEC economies.
Also highlighted was the turnover of the chairmanship of the APEC Engineer Register Philippines-National Monitoring Committee (AERP-NMC) from CHED to PRC.
Established in 1989, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is a regional forum promoting economic growth, trade, and investment liberalization across the Asia-Pacific.
