GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT  | Tokushima’s young tech leaders begin Cebu Tech exchange

Kamiyama Marugoto College’s  Futo Hayakumo and Soya Eiraku have arrived for a three-day academic exchange at Cebu Technological University.

Focused on design, technology, artificial intelligence, gaming, and entrepreneurship, Hayakumo and Eiraku interacted on Tuesday, March 3, with students at the College of Computer, Information and Communications Technology. The session focalized AI systems, gaming development, and emerging technologies, unfolding in an atmosphere of shared curiosity and technical exchange.

The immersion is moving  across campuses, strategically expanding the university’s internationalization footprint to include its less traditional caravan routes—Moalboal and San Francisco. Moalboal highlights entrepreneurship and startup concepts, complemented by a visit to the university’s Technology Business Incubator.

An island visit to  San Francisco dimensionalizes the stint. Dialogs with student leaders opens ideas on leadership, local initiatives, and campus culture, complemented by a light yet meaningful cultural experience that situates innovation within a social context.

More than a structured campus exposure, the activity registers the early shaping of a relationship between the Tokushima, Japan-based institution and CTU. The connection began after the former  obtained CTU’s contact information during an EducationUSA event earlier this year./IAI
