The International Congress on Science, Engineering, Social Sciences and Education (SESSE) 2026 brought scholars from around the globe on March 25-27 in Cebu City.
Cebu Technological University (CTU), Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Canada, and Universal Researchers UAE materialized the conference.
Recognized as Best Oral Paper awardees across four categories [as per the conference tracks] were Michelle Trangia, Rosalyn Alburo, Cristie Ann Jaca, and Szara Sampan.
Despite travel disruptions that affected broader international participation, delegates from Germany, Portugal, India, and Canada made it to the venue.
SESSE 2026, which also
drew participants from non-CTU state universities, especially from Mindanao, gravitated towards a shared commitment to research excellence, internationalization, and sustained academic partnerships.
Its also builds on the long-standing alliance between CTU and UQAM, spanning nearly a decade. /IAI
