CTU Main offers free health services at Women’s Month Fair

To promote health and wellness in the university community, Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus gathered students and employees at the CebuTech Gymnasium on March 19 for “Serbisyo ni Juana: A Health and Wellness Fair” in celebration of Women’s Month.

The event was organized by CTU Physician III Dr. Daisy Therese Llenes in coordination with the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, the CTU Main Medical Clinic, the College of Technology (COT), and the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) Student Chapter of CTU Main.

It was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH), Cebu City Health Department, the Institute of Food Science and Technopreneurship (IFSIT), and the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) College of Nursing.

Participants availed themselves of various free services, including blood typing, HIV counseling and testing, a nutritious food demonstration, iron supplement distribution, dental education, foot spa services, and Balay ni Mayang Service–Organized Care and Empowerment.
