Cebu Technological University continues to advance its international academic collaboration with Aalen University through the launch of the second installment of its Python Lecture Series this week.
The platform with Prof. Christian Koot has continued to build on the academic paradigm, this time with College of Engineering (COE) and the College of Computer, Information, and Communications Technology (CCICT) students.
Following last year’s launching of the German institution’s scholarly event at CTU (with satellite campus participants attending in-person), the second cohort has now been inducted into the session on “Basic Web Technologies and Screen Scraping with Python using Selenium.”
It provides students with practical insights into modern web systems, data extraction techniques, and the application of automation tools—highlighting real-world uses of programming in today’s digital landscape.
The program culminating next week allows students across CTU campuses to join online, enabling a strategic mechanization of learning from the German expert, who materialized the partnership with CTU last year./IAI
