Cebu Technological University (CTU)–Main Campus formalized a partnership with Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed on April 10, 2026, alongside the launch of a digital skills training program for sitio leaders.
The initiative, led by the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) Extension Team of the College of Computer, Information, and Communications Technology (CCICT), is titled “Productivity Software Proficiency: Document Processing.”
The program aims to equip sitio collaborators and community leaders with essential skills in productivity software to improve documentation, reporting, and coordination of local projects.
Faculty members and BSIS extension personnel joined barangay and sitio representatives during the launch, marking the start of the training rollout.
The project, which will run until October 2026, supports grassroots capacity-building efforts by strengthening digital literacy and enhancing efficiency in community governance. /Jhevey Yan R. Sadio- CTU Main BAL Intern
