The Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) Region IV‑A brought its regional officers to Cebu Technological University (CTU) on April 15 for a benchmarking visit, seeking insights from the institution’s leading practices in teacher education, academic programs, research, and extension.
OIC–University President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Reylan G. Capuno welcomed the PAFTE CALABARZON officers, led by Dr. Amor L. Borbon, Regional Chairperson of PAFTE IV‑A and faculty member of St. Bridget College, Batangas City.
Joining Dr. Borbon were Dr. Rosemarie Sabado–Teacher Education Council COE Assessor, Laguna; Dr. Ailyn Maningas–St. Anne College, Lucena City, Quezon; Dr. Delia Jadaone–San Mateo Municipal College; Dr. Vida Dones–Philippine Christian University, Dasmariñas, Cavite; and Dr. Arche Tudtod–University of Perpetual Help, GMA, Cavite.
As part of their Cebu benchmarking effort, the visit underscored their dedication to elevating teacher education through insights drawn from institutions known for innovation and impact.
For CTU, the meaningful exchange validated its ongoing efforts to enhance academic programs and share practices that extend beyond its campuses, ultimately contributing to the nation’s educational progress.
