Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter S. Cayetano conducted an institutional visit to Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus on April 16, 2026, engaging with students, faculty, and university officials as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between government and academic institutions.
The senator was warmly welcomed by Officer-in-Charge University President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, along with university officials, faculty members, staff, and students.

Following his engagement with students at the gymnasium, the senator met with the university’s Civil Engineering Licensure Examination (CELE) topnotchers. He personally congratulated the passers and commended them for their exemplary performance, dedication, and perseverance, recognizing their achievement as a reflection of the university’s academic excellence.
The visit also included discussions with university officials regarding CTU’s current situation, particularly in light of the challenges brought about by the recent earthquake that affected parts of Cebu. Key concerns and possible areas of support were explored.
