ACCREDITATION UPDATE | 5 CTU campuses secure Level IV, Level III Re-accreditation of Select Programs

Strengthening quality education and institutional integrity, Cebu Technological University (CTU) has reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence as programs from the Argao, Barili, Daanbantayan, Danao, and Tuburan campuses successfully secured another Level IV and Level III re-accreditation.

Remarkably, CTU Argao secured Level IV Re-accreditation of its Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics, valid from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2031.

The following programs attained Level III re-accreditation with corresponding validity periods:

ARGAO CAMPUS

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majors in Agronomy, Horticulture, Animal Production, Crop Protection, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Entrepreneurial Management (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

• Bachelor of Science in Forestry (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

BARILI CAMPUS

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Computer Technology (February 1, 2026 – January 31, 2030)

DAANBANTAYAN CAMPUS

• Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics and Technology (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

DANAO CAMPUS 

• Bachelor of Industrial Technology majors in Computer Technology, Drafting Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

• Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

• Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

TUBURAN CAMPUS 

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (February 1, 2026-January 31, 2030)

Facilitated by the Quality Assurance Office under the guidance of Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, QA University Director, these programs were assessed by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. in January this year and were found compliant with the mandatory recommendations.

These re-accreditation achievements affirm CTU’s commitment to academic excellence and reinforce its stature in higher education.
