Engineering student lands Germany mobility scholarship

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering student Mikaela Vianca Molina has secured the prestigious Baden-Württemberg-Stipendium for an academic exchange program at Aalen University (AU) in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The scholarship, funded by the State of Baden-Württemberg and regarded as one of Germany’s established mobility scholarship mechanisms, supports highly qualified international students from AU’s partner institutions, who are selected for one- or two-semester academic mobility engagements in Germany. Monthly grants range from EUR 800 to EUR 1,400.

Molina is expected to stay in Europe from October 2026 to January 2027 (Winter Semester), exposing her to international academic environments, intercultural engagements, and advanced learning platforms.

The campaign for the scholarship initiative within Cebu Technological University (CTU) commenced as early as February this year. Prof. Christian Koot, who primarily facilitated the partnership between the two universities last year, has been instrumental in advancing the opportunity.

In a statement to the Internationalization and ASEAN Integration leadership yesterday, she formally confirmed her acceptance of the scholarship and readiness to represent CTU Main in the cross-cultural academic undertaking./IAI
