“Digital Sustainability and Linguistic Diversity: Preserving Local Knowledge in a Global Tech Economy” will banner the engagement of Dr. Collin Garrido of Cebu Technological University (CTU) San Francisco at the International Conference on Economics and Technology Sustainability 2026 on July 11th in Bình Dương Province, Vietnam.
Dr. Garrido will also deliver a lecture at Binh Duong Economics and Technology University (BETU), which has organized the event.
Joining him are two others from Tuburan campus , who are likewise going to do lectures on July 10th and participate in the summit.
The activities form part of the continuing concretization of the partnership between CTU and BETU, following the agreement sealed in November last year.
BETU was introduced to CTU through one of Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI)Director Dr. Rhodora Magan’s academic acquaintance affiliated with Vietnam Aviation Academy, which is also one of CTU’s international partners.
The upcoming confluence signals CTU’s sustained commitment with its third partner in what is also known as the Land of the Blue Dragon./IAI
