International symposium preludes CTU-MMU pact

Fresh from her participation as a fellow of the Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship in India last year and ahead of her upcoming research presentation in New York this June, Dr. Purity Mata spoke at the international online sharing session last week, hosted by Multimedia University (MMU) Melaka Campus, Malaysia, leading to the agreement signing.

The segment on “Law Meets Code: Navigating Ethics, A.I., and Human Behavior in the Digital Age” represented Dr. Mata’s interaction with MMU’s Faculty of Law, which has proposed a broader institutional partnership this week.

Consistent with CTU’s internationalization thrust of translating prospective partnerships into actual scholarly collaboration prior to formalization, the knowledge-sharing session globally visibilized Carmen campus.

The MMU dean, deputy dean, and faculty members took time to join students and other stakeholders during Dr. Mata’s presentation.

Both institutions now look ahead to the formal signing ceremony, tentatively scheduled for June, with expectations of further enriching and expanding the partnership./IAI
