Strengthening academic reputation, Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Main and Moalboal campuses are named Top Performing Schools in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers in the Elementary Level.
Securing the sixth spot, CTU Main recorded 543 passers out of 617 examinees, posting an 88.01 percent passing rate in the category of institutions with 300 or more examinees and at least 80 percent passing percentage.
Meanwhile, CTU Moalboal landed Top 7 with a 95.73 percent passing rate and 112 out of 117 exam passers, under the category of institutions with 100 to 299 examinees and at least 90 percent passing percentage.
This notable board performance displays CTU’s commitment to academic excellence and its vital role in strengthening the professional teaching workforce.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 45,001 secondary teachers passed out of 61,561 examinees, yielding a 73.10 percent passing rate.
