CTU Officials Convene for First Quarterly University Quality Assurance Meeting and Seminar-Workshop on Institutional Accreditation Recommendations

Cebu Technological University officials are gathered for the First Quarterly University Quality Assurance Meeting and Seminar-Workshop on Institutional Accreditation Recommendations, taking place from June 8–10, 2026, at a hotel in Mandaue City.

Spearheaded by the University Quality Assurance (UQA) Office, led by Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, this three-day event serves as a collaborative platform for discussions, strategic planning, and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen the university’s quality assurance programs and institutional excellence.

The seminar-workshop focuses on reviewing and discussing the recommendations arising from the Institutional Accreditation Results of CTU Main Campus while providing updates on the university’s standing and performance in various global ranking systems, including QS, WURI, Times Higher Education (THE), and Applied Higher Education Exchange.

Participants also receive updates on developments in local accreditation and quality assurance mechanisms, particularly those involving AACUP Inc., ISO certification, the Philippine Quality Award (PQA), and SUC Leveling, all of which play a vital role in advancing the university’s commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Through this gathering, CTU reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, quality service, and global competitiveness in higher education.
