OIC President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus announced that five Cebu Technological University campuses—Main, Danao, San Francisco, Tuburan, and Daanbantayan—have been granted the Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), marking a significant step in the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure and sustain compliance with Institutional Accreditation recommendations.
The announcement was made during the First Quarterly University Quality Assurance Meeting and Seminar-Workshop on Institutional Accreditation Recommendations held on June 8–10, 2026, at a hotel in Mandaue City.
The three-day activity gathered university officials and quality assurance personnel to discuss accreditation recommendations, share best practices, and align institutional initiatives toward continuous improvement.
In her message, Dr. Literatus underscored the importance of the LUDIP grant in supporting compliance with Institutional Accreditation recommendations, particularly those related to infrastructure development.
She emphasized that the grant will help enhance campus facilities and learning environments, further advancing CTU’s pursuit of quality, excellence, and sustainable growth.
Dr. Literatus likewise reaffirmed the university administration’s strong support for quality assurance and accreditation initiatives, recognizing their vital role in strengthening institutional performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the university system.
The OIC President also expressed her sincere gratitude to Dr. Cecilio S. Baga, Overall Coordinator for Institutional Accreditation and University Director for SUC Leveling, for his expertise, unwavering support, and dedication to CTU’s institutional growth.
She commended Dr. Baga for leading the seminar-workshop and facilitating the workshop and feedback sessions throughout the three-day activity, providing valuable guidance to participants in addressing accreditation recommendations and advancing quality assurance initiatives across the university.
Spearheaded by the University Quality Assurance Office, the seminar-workshop serves as a strategic platform for collaboration, capacity-building, and knowledge-sharing as CTU continues to strengthen its culture of quality and excellence in higher education.
