Cebu Technological University (CTU) student leaders Kathlyn Baclayon and Jean Ann Quider have finally seen Project SYLVANUS gaining traction at the opening day of the Green Skills Summit 2026 in Jakarta, following inquiries on their project from some attendees at this year’s biggest SDG-oriented global platform.

Earlier today, Baclayon and Quider met with PSAU’s Dr. Elias and their co-recipients of the fully funded mobility package from other countries.
Beyond exhibiting their project, both participated in simultaneous workshops, networking sessions, exhibits, and more, which Kathlyn has conveyed in a statement to the CTU Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI) leadership.
IAI Director Dr. Rhodora Magan remarked how Dr. Elias, in her negotiation with him at the conference in Hong Kong in April, was resolute in bringing CTU into the global fold. And keeping his promise has brought the IAI leader to her knees to praise God, Dr. Magan added./IAI
