Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU) has granted a fully funded international mobility package to Federation of Student Governments (FSG) officers of Cebu Technological University (CTU) towards the exposition of the Philippines’ sole student-led SDG project entry at the upcoming Green Skills Summit and PSAU Global Student SDG Showcase 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 22–25.
PSAU convenes the event in its capacity as the Green Skills Partner of the Times Higher Education (THE) Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC), which runs during the same period.
Ranked within the top 500 universities worldwide, the university has sent the confirmed flight and accommodation bookings today to FSG President Kathlyn Baclayon and Vice president Jean Ann Quider, alongside other grantees from PSAU’s expanding network of partner universities under the PSAU Global South Partnership.
The exhibition will spotlight the FSG-developed Project SYLVANUS (Strategic Youth Leadership for Vanguard Action, Nature, Unity, and Sustainability), which integrates youth leadership, environmental stewardship, sustainable livelihoods, participatory governance, and strategic partnerships into a unified model for sustainable development.
It advocates for mangrove rehabilitation, coastal conservation, reforestation, agroforestry, sustainability education, community engagement, and leadership formation programs. Thus it touches on SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 15 (Life on Land), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
CTU’s accession to PSAU’s GSP resulted in discussions between CTU Internationalization and ASEAN Integration Director Dr. Rhodora Magan and PSAU Rankings, Sustainability, and Institutional Advancement Director Dr. Abdul Elias during the THE Asia University Summit in Hong Kong on April 23, 2026. PSAU formally extended the invitation to CTU on June 4, 2026.
