The 5th International Research and Education Conference drew scholars last week in New York , including CTU academics.
Themed “Sustainability Through Innovation: Rethinking Futures of Education in the Age of AI,” the conference awarded the Dr. Roberto N. Padua Memorial Award for Excellence in Research Paper.
Dr. Purity Mata and Dr. Hedeliza Pineda won first and second places, respectively, for the Teaching, Learning Curriculum and Student Development track.
The Teacher Development, Educational Leadership and AI-enabled Educational Systems track had Dr. Margie Fulgencio in third place.
Dr. Hershey Mondejar got the same spot for the Community Development and Demands of the Industry cluster.
For oral presentation, Dr. Mata and Dr. Pineda landed first and third places, respectively, in their designated track, while Dr. Fulgencio coming in third in her cluster.
Presenting her paper also was Dr. Elena Maria Agravante.
The Association of Filipino Teachers and Educators in America (AFTEA) has been hosting research conferences for years now. CTU and AFTEA have inked a partnership earlier this year.
