CTU–Main convenes cultural organizations ahead of Tanghal ng Kultura 2026

Cebu Technological University–Main Campus, through its Office of Culture and Arts, convened advisers and officers of its cultural organizations on July 2 to coordinate preparations for CebuTech: Tanghal ng Kultura 2026, the CTU Main’s first cultural showcase set for August 29.

The coordination meeting, led by the Office of Culture and Arts under Prof. Ariel C. Grijaldo in collaboration with Sidhi Performing Arts, brought together representatives from the Choristers, Drum and Bugle Corps, Indayog Cultural Dance Troupe, Dance Premier, and Tanghalang CTU to discuss plans and responsibilities for the event.

Scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the CTU–Main Gymnatorium, Tanghal ng Kultura 2026 will showcase the talents and artistry of CTU students while serving as the official launch of the campus’s cultural program. The event will also provide students with the opportunity to audition for the university’s performing groups.

The initiative supports the Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) Strategic Plan 2025–2029, particularly Target No. 20, Action Step No. 1, which calls for annual concerts, exhibitions, and other creative events that provide students with platforms to showcase their talents and artistic work.

Through the collaboration of its cultural organizations, CTU–Main continues to strengthen campus cultural programs, promote student participation in the arts, and contribute to the holistic development of its learners.
