The College of Engineering (COE) of Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus produced 432 new graduates during the university’s 111th Commencement Exercises held on July 1 at the CebuTech Gymnatorium.
Dr. Joecyn N. Archival, dean of the COE, presented the 432 candidates for graduation for Academic Year 2025–2026 from the Bachelor of Science programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Officer-in-Charge University President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus formally conferred the degrees and served as the commencement speaker.
In her speech, she nderscored the significance of the occasion through the theme, “The Technologist’s Heart: Fostering Human Connection in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
“We gathered to honor not only the completion of your academic journey but also the beginning of your responsibility as contributors to a rapidly evolving world,” Dr. Literatus said.
The university also awarded a ₱80,000 cash incentive to Sarah Marielle Aniño of CTU Main Campus for placing sixth in the March 2026 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination.
The commencement exercises were attended by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pjaron Jr., university officials, faculty members, parents, and guests.
The ceremony reflected CTU’s continuing commitment to producing competent and globally competitive engineers prepared to meet industry demands, drive innovation, and contribute to national development.
