GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT | BETU, CTU fill Ho Chi Minh with interculturalities ahead of paper presentation

Hours leading to the research presentations, students and academics shared intercultural moments yesterday at Binh Duong Economics and Technology University’s (BETU).

The host’s version of welcoming the first major collaboration with Cebu Technological University was packed with a lecture series, cultural re-orientations [accentuated in local costumes, dances, games, etc.], and a visit to BETU’s  sister institution Van Lang University, before hearing  the scholarly finds in students’ individual papers today.

In between the activities were consciously and unconsciously negotiated culturalities woven in simple talks and chitchats that would have formed a core memory among participants.

BETU students and staff were able to primarily share  their reception of the CTU delegates  [at the open dialog session prior to the lecture series], whose arrival resulted in a plan hatched in November of last year, following the agreement signing.

BETU’s accommodation of CTU is “nothing short of excellent,” the Internationalization and ASEAN Integration leadership shared in a statement./IAI
