Dr. Alexandre St-Vincent Villeneuve spent his time in June with Cebu Technological University to infuse the research-based dialog with his knowledge on portable AI-assisted medical device for breast cancer screening.
Channelized by the College of Engineering, the contribution of the Canadian postdoctorate researcher informed academics, including those from the College of Computer, Information and Communications Technology, the centrality of their expertise in calibrating the impact of AI, even on the medical field.
Dr. Ronald Galindo facilitated Villeneuve’s visit, which factored in CTU’s depth in terms of visiting lecturers/professors.
The Internationalization and ASEAN Integration leadership eyes a sustainable partnership with Villeneuve, who earned his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from CTU’s long-time ally—University of Quebec in Montreal./IAI
