Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) account manager Yi Yin Tham sidelined CTU during her Cebu campaign and spent a couple of hours describing how best to look into the rankings methodologies now with more players coming in.
Diving deep into the QS metrics earlier were university directors for internationalization and ASEAN integration, quality assurance and alumni affairs, Dr. Rhodora Magan, Dr. Meralei Lawas and Dr. Mary Joy Alit, respectively, World Rankings Specialist Sem John Barba and Main campus admissions officer Dr. Catherine Ross D. Degula.
International student recruitment is touched on, with the main campus as the only eligible campus to enrol foreign students. CTU’s global stance needs to be layered with nationalities to engage with Cebuanos, Dr. Magan said.
Recruitment, Tham said, is reliant on several factors. The institution’s research DNA at the top was pointed out, alongside quality assurance mechanizations, alumni capability, and more.
