Cebu Technological University (CTU) strengthened its collaboration with industry partners after formally receiving Cisco networking equipment and a generator set from Ardent Networks, Inc. and CebNet Technologies, Inc. through the ceremonial signing of a Deed of Donation on July 29, 2026, at the Administration Building Conference Room.
The donated equipment will support the College of Computer, Information and Communications Technology (CCICT) of the CTU Main Campus by enhancing its networking infrastructure and providing additional resources for instruction, laboratory activities, and other academic initiatives.
Representing the donor organizations during the signing ceremony were Mr. Reynan S. Panes, Chief Operating Officer of CebNet Technologies, Inc.; Ms. Marissa Magbanua, Sales Executive of CebNet Technologies, Inc.; Ms. Fretzel Ocaña, Assistant Vice President for Marketing–Visayas and Mindanao of Ardent Networks, Inc.; and Ms. Rizza Pasco, Cisco Product Manager of Ardent Networks, Inc., together with representatives from Cisco and the partner organizations.
The University was represented by Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, OIC-University President; Dr. Jose Maria S. Garcia II, Dean of CCICT; Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., CTU Main Campus Director, along with the faculty and staff of CCICT.
During the ceremony, the University expressed its appreciation to Ardent Networks, Inc., CebNet Technologies, Inc., and Cisco for their continued support in advancing technology education through industry collaboration.
The partnership reflects the shared commitment of the University and its industry partners to equip future information and communications technology professionals with modern technologies and relevant learning resources while fostering innovation and excellence in ICT education.
Through collaborations such as this, CTU continues to strengthen industry linkages that enhance student learning, expand access to state-of-the-art technologies, and prepare graduates with the competencies needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
