A total of 1,239 graduates from the College of Technology (COT)–Main Campus marched in their academic regalia during the 111th Commencement Exercises of Cebu Technological University (CTU), held today, July 3, 2026, at the Cebu Tech Gymnatorium, making them the largest graduating contingent in this year’s commencement rites.
Dr. Janice A. Alivio, Dean of COT formally presented the 1,239 graduating candidates of the Class of 2025–2026.
These graduates represent the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) programs with majors in Automotive, Civil Technology, Cosmetology, Drafting, Electrical, Electronics, Food Preparation and Services, Furniture and Cabinet Making Technology, Garments Technology, Interior Design, Machine Shop, Power Plant Technology, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, and Welding and Fabrication.
Dr. Alivio also presented the candidates from the Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics (BSMx), Bachelor of Science in Graphics and Design (BSGD), and Bachelor of Science in Technology Management (BSTechM).
Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, Officer‑in‑Charge University President, officially conferred degrees upon the 1,239 graduates and delivered her commencement address.
Furthermore, Batch Valedictorian Jeffia Alona Marie C. Tabigue, Magna Cum Laude of the BIT–Civil Technology program, led the Pledge of Loyalty, where graduates expressed their gratitude to their alma mater, faculty, and families, and pledged to uphold the institution’s ideals, serve with integrity, and contribute to the nation.
With the theme ‘The Technologist’s Heart: Fostering Human Connection in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,’ today’s milestone celebrated graduates as industry-ready innovators, equipped to advance the nation through technology grounded in both skill and human values.
