Cebu Technological University (CTU) and Resecurity, Inc. formalized a partnership on July 16, 2026, through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will integrate Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) training into the university’s academic programs, strengthening students’ preparation for careers in cybersecurity.
The agreement was signed by CTU Officer-in-Charge University President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus and Ben Ouano, Chief Operating Officer for the Indo-Pacific Region of Resecurity. The partnership aims to address the increasing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals by combining academic instruction with industry-based training.
Under the agreement, CTU students will gain access to the Resecurity Context™ Platform, a proprietary cyber threat intelligence system that provides real-time global threat monitoring and simulation-based learning. The platform will support classroom instruction and hands-on training in cyber threat analysis.
The training program focuses on five core areas: cyber threat intelligence fundamentals, threat hunting and incident response, threat actor analysis and attribution, communication and terminology used in dark web investigations, and security operations with ethical cybersecurity practices, including digital forensics and ethical hacking.
Resecurity will provide industry experts to conduct seminars, offer mentorship programs, and provide internship opportunities for qualified students. CTU, meanwhile, will integrate the training into its curriculum, identify eligible students, and provide logistical and academic support for laboratory and practical learning activities.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen CTU’s cybersecurity education initiatives by providing students with greater exposure to current industry practices and technologies and enhancing their readiness for employment in the cybersecurity sector.
The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, College of Information and Communications Technology Dean Dr. Jose Maria Garcia III, University Data Protection Officer Johannes M. Camasura, faculty members of the college, and Ren Nograles, President of 888 Tech Exchange Ventures.
