Cebu Technological University–Danao Campus successfully marked the Accreditation Week Festival by completing two online accreditation survey visits conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) from August 10–14, attesting to its commitment to academic advancement and institutional accountability.
On August 10-14, the survey covered Level II accreditation for the Master of Arts in Education major in Teaching Science, Level I accreditation for BS Mechatronics and BS Information Technology, and Preliminary Survey Visits for MA in Education major in Teaching Mathematics and BS Computer Engineering.
Facilitated by the University Quality Assurance Office under University Director for Quality Assurance Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, the online survey was joined by Danao Campus Director Dr. Rose Mary L. Almacen, with support from OIC‑President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, Overall Coordinator Engr. Nancy M. Santiago, University Director of Instruction Dr. Ariel L. Ramos, and Campus QA Chairperson Dr. Rodel S. Hintapan.
The AACCUP Survey Team was led by Engr. Santiago of Bulacan State University (BulSU), with Dr. Hintapan directing the Local Task Force at Danao Campus.
From August 12–14, the second survey focused on Level III Phase 2 accreditation for BS Electrical Engineering and revisit of all areas for BS Civil Engineering and BS Industrial Engineering.
The survey was likewise guided by Dr. Almacen and supported by CTU officials, with Engr. Nestor C. Competente of Rizal Technological University (RTU) serving as Overall Coordinator and leading the AACCUP survey team, while Dr. Hintapan headed the local task force.
The accreditation visits reaffirm CTU’s commitment to academic excellence, sustained quality assurance, and the advancement of graduate and engineering programs to remain aligned with national standards and global demands.
