CTU Main marks the first Monday of August with ASEAN-inspired attire

Cebu Technological University-Main Campus observed the first Monday of August with employees wearing ASEAN-inspired attire during the flag-raising ceremony on August 3.

The occasion also marked the first day of reporting for teaching personnel for the Academic Year 2026–2027, as faculty members officially returned to campus in preparation for the opening of classes.

The observance of ASEAN-inspired attire is in accordance with Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 16, s. 2024, or the Revised Dress Code for Government Officials and Employees, which promotes inclusivity while honoring the shared cultural heritage of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Through this initiative, CTU-Main continues to uphold government directives while reaffirming its commitment to ASEAN values, cultural appreciation, workplace inclusivity, and institutional excellence.
