Dr. Eskandar Poorasgari of the University of Saskatchewan continued his lecture today at CTU Moalboal to spark interest for water conservation.
The campus Internationalization and ASEAN Integration chair Asst. Prof. Jeramie Josette Fernandez, alongside the Future Science and Technology Leaders of the Philippines, brought College of Education sophomore students to listen to the Canada-based postdoctoral research fellow.
Poorasgari led participants to the challenges facing global water resources and the need for science-based approaches to conservation and integrated management, especially in the ASEAN region./IAI
