New research frontiers opened for CTU faculty researchers from Barili, Moalboal, Tuburan, Consolacion, and Carmen, who met with Western Galilee College academic Dr. Hagit Turgeman at a roundtable exchange in Danao yesterday.
The faculty brought their interests to the discussion and explored intersectionalities with Dr. Hagit’s work.
She offered to connect researchers with interested members at her institution and tap her extensive academic network in the United States.
The moment gave them a direct channel, as she encouraged the faculty to directly communicate with her, despite being the head of both the Sociology and Criminology departments.
Israeli master’s students Elinor Elbaz, Nurit Aberman, Orit Gabay Yanay, and Miri Luz Poli expanded the consultation through their specializations in management and economics; literacy and innovation in education; and educational systems management./IAI
