The Culture and Arts Office of Cebu Technological University–Main Campus (CTU-Main) highlighted Philippine cultural heritage through a series of performances by the CTU-Main Indayog Cultural Dance Troupe in July.
The group first performed on July 23 during the PHILARM Research Ethics Assembly 2026: Promoting Integrity and Responsibility at the CTU Gymnatorium. The assembly carried the theme, “Advancing Knowledge Through Ethical Inquiry & Responsible Research.”
Indayog’s presentation added a cultural dimension to the academic gathering, featuring Philippine folk dances that celebrated Filipino identity and heritage. The performance also demonstrated the role of culture and the arts in complementing academic activities and fostering appreciation for Filipino traditions.
Sustaining its cultural momentum, the Indayog Cultural Dance Troupe proudly carried the CTU‑Main banner in an off‑campus performance at the Philippine Digital TV Summit 2026, held July 31 at Bai Hotel, Mandaue City.
Through a vibrant showcase of Philippine folk dances, the troupe not only celebrated the richness of Filipino heritage but also reinforced CTU’s standing as a premier institution for culture and the arts on the national stage.
These engagements underscore the steadfast commitment of the CTU‑Main Culture and Arts Office to cultural preservation, artistic excellence, and institutional pride.
