Cebu Technological University–Tuburan Campus is undergoing an accreditation survey visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) from September 21 to 25, 2026, as part of the university’s continuing efforts to uphold academic quality and strengthen program improvement.
The five-day accreditation activity focuses on the Level II Revisit of all areas of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) program to assess its compliance with established quality standards.
The opening program was led by the University Quality Assurance Office, headed by Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, and attended by Tuburan Campus Director Dr. Ma. Carla Y. Abaquita and OIC–University President Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, represented by Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, Vice President for Academic Affairs. University and campus officials, quality assurance personnel, and members of the AACCUP Survey Team also attended the program.
The AACCUP Survey Team is led by Dr. June Raymond L. Mariano of the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP). Engr. Robert Michael B. Corpus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) serves as lead accreditor, while Prof. Wilma L. Kultz represents Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU).
