Argao instructor Rachelle Sabella has officially started her research work in Canada, under the 2026–2027 Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development-Phase 2 (SEED-2) Program.
Following results on June 13th, Sabella, alongside three others from Cebu Technological University, is hosted by the institution’s long-time ally Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
She is receiving a grant worth C$10,200 (approximately ₱420,000) for visa processing fees, round-trip international airfare, health insurance, accommodation, utilities, meals, domestic transportation, books, academic supplies, and other living and study-related expenses throughout the semester-long stay at UQAM.
