The 2nd Qualitative Research Connect (QLRC) International Conference is underway at Cebu Technological University (CTU), with Professor Virginia Braun, one of the most recognized scholars in qualitative research, among its standout guests.
The event brings together scholars from New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Costa Rica, Australia, the United States, India, and other countries.
Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region VII Director Dr. Filomena Dayagbil, who graced the opening ceremony, pointed to the intersection of research and internationalization in strengthening Philippine higher education.
Researchers have until Wednesday to present their papers, exchange ideas, and network with fellow participants.
CTU’s research and internationalization teams have worked closely with QLRC senior adviser Dr. Safary Wa-Mbaleka, who first proposed the partnership in September last year./IAI
