Campus Journalism Writeshop Empowers Young Voices as Southern Ripples Publication extends Service to student writers and artists.

Talo-ot Integrated School and Talo-ot Stand Alone Junior High students gathered for a two-day Campus Journalism Writeshop held on September 13 & 14,2025 . Staff Writers, Layout Writers as well as Photo Journalist extends its expertise in School Paper writing and Journalism prowess. With the theme:  â€śEmpowering Young Voices Through Responsible Journalism.” , the activity honed the potential writers’ skills in news, feature, editorial, sports writing, copyright reading and photojournalism through interactive lectures and hands-on sessions led by resource speakers.

The writeshop not only strengthened their technical writing abilities but also instilled values of integrity, fairness, and accountability—essential traits of responsible journalism. By the end of the event, participants showcased their outputs and reflections, proving their readiness to serve as responsible storytellers in their school and in its community.

A highlight of the event is the significant contribution of the Campus Southern Ripples Publication Student-Staff writers, who generously shared their expertise and guided the participants through practical sessions. Their dedication played a vital role in nurturing the confidence and creativity of the young campus journalists.
