Cebu Technological University (CTU) Bantayan donated facemasks and hand sanitizers to selected barangays and islet-barangays in the Municipality of Bantayan last April 2020 as part of its community extension service during the times of the pandemic.
The handmade fabric masks were donated by CTU students, concerned Bantayanons and were distributed to the front liners in the different barangays by the faculty members and student-volunteers.
CTU has been helping the community previously in their school activities such as feeding programs, coastal clean-up, and mask distribution. This shows that even during difficult times, there are many ways to help and show care for others.
