University Shared Facility (USF) for “Sewing” in Cebu Technological University Bantayan Campus
The University Shared Facility of the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Bantayan is a Sewing Center equipped with ten (10) high-speed sewing machines, five (5) portable sewing machines and one (1) edging machine.
OBJECTIVES
Provide livelihood for displaced workers during the pandemic;
Create employment opportunities for the residents of Bantayan;
Respond to the shortage of trained garment workers in the locality;
Produce industrial designs that would meet the market demands;
Serve as a center for product innovation, research, extension and commercialization; and
Establish linkages for future developments.
