CTU Barili- Department of Hospitality Management (DHM) conducted a faculty capacity-building seminar workshop on February 2 and 3. The two-day activity hosted 10 participants with the department’s Chairperson, Prof. Queeny Marie B. Abad.
The seminar workshop aims to strengthen the DHM faculty members’ professional growth and development and provide them with new information and the latest trends in the hospitality management field. The topics are bread and pasty production skills, cultural tourism awareness, hospitality management teaching, and financial management.
Its highly-participative set-up allowed participants to reflect on and contribute ideas to the scope of each faculty member’s topic. Participants raised relevant questions and gave key takeaways after the topic presentation.
Meanwhile, on the second day of the said activity, the participants gathered for a meeting and opened a forum to plan out and manage the programs for the upcoming CTM week set for this month.
