The Cebu Technological University – Barili Campus warmly welcomed the faculty and students from the Mindanao State University – General Santos’ College of Agriculture Major in Agronomy on April 28, 2023.
The visit was a part of their campus educational tour to agriculture schools in Bohol, Leyte, and Cebu. The faculty and students from MSU were accommodated by CTU Barili faculty and staff and were given a campus tour.
The tour’s highlight was their visit to the Center for Studies in Biotechnology (Biotech Center), where they were welcomed by the Center’s Director, Ms. Kristy Amor Garcia, along with the staff. The visitors were introduced to the center’s research laboratories.
The Biotech Center is one of CTU’s Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Centers, which prioritizes studies on plant biochemistry, natural bio-resources, molecular studies, food, and feed innovations technology, bio-science engineering systems technology, and socio-economic and development impacts of biotechnology.
