The regular and part-time faculty members from Cebu Technological University Barili Campus engaged in a seminar workshop on March 6, 2025, addressing the issues of the grading system and access to online journals.
The Campus Librarian, Ms. Irish Concepcion, led the first workshop. Ms. Concepcion oriented the faculty members about the online database in the CTU library system. She demonstrated how they can access and navigate the online database. The faculty members and students can access these online databases, such as Pro-quest, Scopus, and Science Direct, among other open-access journals. Access to these online journals is essential for research and instruction, especially with student theses.
The second session delved into the issues regarding the grading system. Dr. Jeremy P. Mondejar led the workshop. He demonstrated the Grade computation using the prescribed transmutation. The demonstration was essential, especially for the newly hired faculty members.
The seminar-workshop was a success, keeping faculty members updated on the grading system policies and new trends in research by giving them access to online journals.
