CTU Barili Management Council Members and guests during the Strategic Planning 2026

The CTU Barili Campus’ management council members gather together on May 14-16, 2025, at One Central Hotel, Cebu, for a comprehensive 3-day campus strategic planning and budget call for 2026.

Prior to the planning session, knowledgeable speakers on the topic give the participants insights into the planning process. Dr. Jana Gloria F. Almerino, the Supervising Administrative Officer (HRMO IV) of CTU Main, enlightened the participants on identifying action steps that are attainable and doable, and identifying gaps and priorities while staying rooted and aligned with the University’s VMGOs. Dr. Almerino also highlighted the importance of performance management to focus efforts on high-impact outcomes.

The second speaker, Dr. Emma R. Sacan, the CTU Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, enlightened the participants about the importance of budgeting and disbursements. Dr. Sacan also outlined the integration of GAD in all campus activities by discussing the general guidelines in GAD planning and budget.

The second and third days of the activity focused on the presentation and cascading of targets for 2026. All the management council members, led by the Campus Director, Dr. Romeo C. Lepiten, the college deans, and the office heads, contributed to the strategic planning of the campus.

This endeavor aligns with the CTU Barili’s commitment to foster efforts leading to excellence.
