Under the Education and Social Sciences category, students from BS Hospitality Management, BS Tourism Management, BSEd–Science, and BEEd showcased studies focused on education, tourism, hospitality, and student development. Research topics included educational tours, tourism sustainability, science learning strategies, and pre-service teachers’ coping mechanisms.

In the Food and Agriculture category, participants from BS Agribusiness, BS Food Technology, BS Agriculture, and BS Tourism presented studies on food safety, agriculture, agritourism, and consumer preferences. Several studies highlighted sustainable agricultural practices, food quality assessment, and the development of local food products and tourism initiatives.

Meanwhile, the Engineering, Technology, and Innovation category featured research from BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, BIT–Computer Technology, and BS Information Technology students. Topics focused on technological innovation, renewable energy, digital applications, geospatial studies, and sustainable engineering solutions.

The presentations were held simultaneously, with each category in a different venue. The setup was done to accommodate all the presentations in the 1-day program. Faculty experts from other CTU campuses served as adjudicators, together with the selected experts from CTU Barili.

The winners were selected within each program across the three categories. Students per program received awards and certificates for the Best Poster and Best Paper Presentation.

The congress highlighted the importance of research and innovation in addressing real-world concerns through academic inquiry and practical application. Students were given the opportunity to strengthen their research skills, present their findings, and exchange ideas with fellow participants and faculty members.

Through the annual research congress, CTU–Barili Campus continues to promote a culture of research, innovation, and academic excellence, encouraging students to contribute meaningful solutions and advancements in their respective fields of study.
