Barangay Sudlon in Cebu City is where Barili Campus first started. The Sudlon Agricultural School was established on August 2, 1948, in accordance with Omnibus Law 948. It was moved to Lahug, Cebu City, in 1954. It joined the eleven agricultural schools in the Bureau of Vocational Education’s EDPITAF Program in 1972. During this period, agricultural tertiary degrees became available. As part of the CSCST System, the College of Agriculture moved to its current 100-hectare location in Cagay, Barili, on May 30, 2001.
