ERASMUS + Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Grant Holders’ Meeting with Nobel Prize Laureate Awardee

A public opening session on “Designing the future: role and responsibility of Higher Education Institutions” with Nobel Prize Laureate, Professor Muhamad Yunus, for the ERASMUS+Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Grant Holders’ Meeting was attended by CTU Internationalization and ASEAN Integration’s Director, Chairpersons and staff on January 25, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:30 pm Brussels time (from 6:00 pm Philippine Time)

The first day of the long week conference is set on high as the invited keynote speaker is a Nobel Prize Awardee, Professor Muhamad Yubus, a renowned social entrepreneur, banker, economist, a civil society leader and is famous for his work on microcredit and microfinance.

Moreover, the said online session aims to provide project coordinators and partners with relevant information concerning the operational management and financial management for a successful implementation of the selected CBHE projects.

Other speakers included are: Ralf Rahders (Head of Unit, EACEA); Themis Christophidou (Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture); Sophie Beernaerts (Head of Department Erasmus+ and EU Aid Volunteers, EACEA); and Clivio Casali (Project Adviser, International Capacity Building, EACEA).

Lastly, CTU representatives are:

This online grant holders’ meeting lasted over the entire week from January 25-29, 2021.
